had another baking session yesterday.this time,with kx’s help..kx never understands why i want to bake instead of buying the end product (which might be cheaper and nicer).haha…i guess i enjoy the process of baking and eating something that you made from scratch.he found it boring and prefer cooking cooking (not a bad thing for me)
tried making cheesecake.had a little fun and decorate it with raspberry jam.the end product was this very delicious cheescake!!
*ignore the biscuit crumb as we ate two pieces before putting it into the fridge.that’s why the base is not solid yet.

ingredients:
250g biscuit
2 tsp sugar
80g melted butter
500g cream cheese
120g sugar
3tbsp all-purpose flour
1tsp vanilla essence
150g sour cream
2 eggs
- blend biscuit, sugar and butter together
- press it to the base of the circular pan
- bake for 10 mins at 175C
- beat cream cheese and sugar till creamy
- add in vanilla essence, flour, sour cream and mix together
- add in eggs one at a time and blend till just cover
- pour over biscuit base
- add jam of your preference to the top using a piping bag
- use satay stick to do swirl effect if you wish
- bake for 45 mins at 160C
- let it cool before placing it into the fridge
